SEO for a Cyber Essentials provider.
Working with Forensic Control to improve on-page.
Getting SMEs started with SEO.
It’s important to build site content before embarking on off-page SEO.
Our client, Forensic Control, specialises in delivering Cyber Essentials training to businesses in the UK.
We were recently involved in the design and build of a new website for Jonathan and the team which initially was a replication of the current site (in terms of content).
With a new site, improved technical SEO and site structure, we are now working to develop more content for the site to increase its size and authority.
This is a step-by-step process that’s designed to win more ranking keywords for the site before we embark on off-page SEO.
Project outline & brief.
Get the site ranking for Cyber Essentials related keywords.
Cyber Essentials is a government scheme to help businesses become more secure and aware of potential cyber threats.
As this term is popular, we are working with Forensic Control to build content around related keywords to target clients seeking certification rather than people simply researching the term.
This is subtle SEO, but there is a difference in search intent.
Our client is a certification supplier, but not the owner of the brand name.
Results.
Making headway in a very competitive niche.
Most of the competitor sites in this niche that rank in the top-10 for volume searches are .gov websites and larger sites with 20x the content of our client’s current site.
Within the initial three-month period of the campaign, we’ve been successful in delivering over $400USD worth of traffic to the site on a monthly basis.
We’ve also achieved rankings and new traffic to several new content pieces that are delivering intent-ready visitors to the site.
