If there is one thing that’s great about PPC is that you can set budgets and timescales.
Once either is exhausted, the adverts (and charges) stop.
We leverage this control to suggest to most of our clients that are stating out with PPC to run a fixed-cost short campaign to trial.
Typically we will suggest the following:
- Use PPC to test the main keywords you want to rank for, but don’t currently rank organically in the top 5 results.
- Decide the monthly budget for these.
- Run a 3-month campaign for these keywords
This creates a fixed-cost campaign to get you going and eventual data and reports on how well things went.
From this point, you can then decide whether PPC is right for you.
